Fast bowler Mohammad Irfan gets emotional blow

Fast bowler Mohammad Irfan gets a huge blow as his mother has passed away. The fast bowler is in Australia and he is making his ODI come back. Now it seems that he will have to leave the ODI series to reach back home. Tough days for the tall fast bowler.

Irfan’s mother was ill for some time now. Irfan on the other hand did make sure that he is present around her. He was in Pakistan first but now since the selectors took him in the ODI side so he had to move to Australia for the ODI series. After so much hard work Irfan would be highly disappointed and down at the moment. He has done so much on his fitness and bowling. He was once the strike bowler for Pakistan in the limited overs cricket. Then due to poor fitness and bowling issues he was slipped out of the Pakistan team.

Irfan came back for one game in England and his bowling absolutely blazed the Pakistani coach and fans. Irfan bowled just one spell of 5 overs with the new ball. When he came back for the second spell he was just not the same Irfan. Same old issues with his fitness emerged in a span of 40 odd overs.

He left the field and Pakistani coach Mickey Arthur was no disappointed with this that he could not even hide his reaction. He was seen using some severe words while standing at the balcony of the stadium. Now once again Irfan was back in the Pakistan team and this unfortunate incident happened. Irfan at the moment is returning back to the Pakistan. There are five ODIs and three T20 games which Pakistan will play against Australia. Irfan might go back after the funeral and burial. But at the moment it is uncertain how he will plan for the immediate future.

His presence in the Pakistan side matters but at the same time his performance is what matters the most. Will he be able to play with intensity and focused mind is something only Irfan can tell. PCB has not announced any replacement for him at the moment. This means that they will wait for a few more days and consult with Irfan before reaching a conclusion. Junaid Khan could be the best option available in the Pakistan team. He has not been selected so far which is a shame. He is performing really well and could have been replaced with Wahab Riaz at least. Pakistan will have to change their bowling line up for the ODI and T20 series.
