Pakistan is currently touring Australia. Australia has won the Test series against Pakistan. Australia white washed Pakistan in a 3 Test match series. This was the worst performance by Pakistanis. Now Pakistan and Australia will play ODI series.

Today was the tour match between Pakistanis and Cricket Australia XI. Pakistan batted first and they has scored 334 in the 50 overs. Sharjeel Khan batted fantastically and then Babar Azam batted brilliantly. After batting Pakistanis bowl really well and they bowl out Australia in just 138.

The batting from Pakistan today was excellent. One can argue that the fielding from the Cricket Australia side was poor but then again that does not mean that Pakistan batting did nothing. From top of the middle and then at bottom there were some seriously good knocks played. The start was from Sharjeel at the top hitting a fifty. Next up was Babar Azam making 98 and falling just 2 runs short of making a hundred. He was unlucky and surely deserved a hundred today. He played brilliantly and hit a good solid partnership with Sharjeel.

In the middle it was Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik then onwards. Umar hit a fifty while Malik made 46. So overall it was a good decent batting performance from the Pakistan team. They made 334 runs, the second highest total for them in the series so far. In the bowling Imad Wasim struck with the new ball. He trapped the opener lbw first. It was an arm ball and the batsman did not understand a bit of it. The ball came in with the angle of the arm and hit the pads. There was hardly any doubt about this one.

This was then followed by another one from Imad. The second wicket fell in the same manner like the first one. Another arm ball and another Australian batsman bites the dust. It was evident with the way Australians played against Imad that they failed to pick up his arm ball.

This batsman got himself lbw as well. The third wicket went to Hasan Ali. This was a spectacular catch by Asad Shafiq in the deep. The little fellow had to run a lot and then at the end hit a long dive to reach to the ball. He caught it and then made sure it does not slip out. This is the best take from a Pakistani player in this series so far. Pakistan has taken a good start before the ODI series and they need to capitalize to this momentum. They have to win games in order to save their respect as a good decent side.
